  • Simplify language.

  • Avoid scrolling text.

  • Avoid distracting flickering images or blinking text.

  • Create text to speech friendly pages.

  • Use audio files as alternative communication where needed.

  • Avoid use of large unbroken pages or long paragraphs of text.

  • Provide definition of terms and acronyms when needed. 
    Example: CEO (to see place curser over acronym).

  • Avoid functions that require a response within a specified amount of time.
