Sensitive Epilepsy. Some people with this form epilepsy can have
a seizure
triggered by certain website displays.
Considerations:

Avoid the the use of flashing, flickering, or
blinking text or images
especially of high intensity and within
certain frequency ranges*.

Avoiding auto refresh pages.

Avoid the use of moving text or provide the user the
ability to stop the motion.
Causes of triggered seizures:
-
flickering or flashing: 4 to 59 flashes per second (Hertz) range.

With a peak sensitivity at 20 flashes per second.
-
Strobe light effects.
-
Quick changes from dark to light.
